The Quest for Happiness

I had the opportunity to go to my Landlord's house (TWitt) this weekend and participate in a pool volleyball tournament. I was planing on going then on Friday night I got a call fom TWitt asking if I was planning on playing. I thought I ad made it clear that I was the first time and was put off by the question. I thought for a moment and then told TWitt that I was not going to play. "I don't want to hang out with a bunch of people I don't know." To which Twitt replied, "How are you going to meet people then?" My feelings were hurt and I know that they shouldn't have been. Twitt was just calling for her sister to get things situated but I took it as a hesitated invitation. Also Twitt and I have been speaking less then usual since JHam has left. Twitt's mom is also here and i don't want to intrude on family time. Right now I feel as if the Gym and school are the only places I go but I don't know what else to do. Where do you make lasting

So much has happened since I posted last. Where to start. JHam... began his 12 months of service in the US Army Reserves. Leaving behind baby Lo Lo and Twitt. I feel so bad for this family who from the time I have moved in had supported me and really been a friend. I was with Twitt when she dropped her husband off at the bus that would take him to peoria to begin training before leaving the country. It was one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed. All those families about to be separated. I am so proud of JHam and know that he will do great things and return to his family soon. I have been working diligently in my room at school. Trying to get ready for what will be a wonderful year. It is important to use the power of positive thinking. I have tried to stop drinking as much. Though I won't turn down an opportunity to have a beer with my great friends. This Friday I met up with TP AMo and MetroB. We met in BG and had some drinks and good conversation. I went ahead and stayed
