Pink Eye and Blogging

So this morning around three am I woke to very puffy eyes. I being my moms daughter chose to put some neosporin in them. Now I know what you are thinking. "HopeSister that is a bad idea, it says right on the tube not to use in your eyes." Well to that I say Bah! I am not blind yet. Well I tried to go back to sleep but my eyes were watering and being distracting so I decided that I would not be able to go to school like this. After I got myself a sub I went to school and got some lesson plans together then came home and slept. It was a wonderful sleep and when I awoke my eye lashes were stuck together. I went to the eye doctor around 11 and in a few minutes she told me I had pink eye and gave me some drops to use. Um.....also she went and got a camera and took a picture through the machine, so she could have an up close picture of my eye. Odd. I know. The remainder of the day went pretty smoothly. I made a wonderful pasta sauce for dinner, i ate pasta too but I just had to boi

The World

The World The world as seen through rose colored glasses, when you seem to be watching life as it passes. You feel like you are waiting for your life to begin, before it starts it seems to end. How are you to know the right choice to make, is happiness in the road you take? To begin your life is to give up control, what if you lose sight of what you know? Life is a gamble and the lucky win, I’ll keep my glasses, I’m all in. - HopeSister

Shake it like a Polaroid picture

Ok so yesterday I got this bug and started in with some charcoal drawings. I did a hand and part of a picture form a book. I have not done anything (art wise) for myself in quite awhile and am excited to get back into it. I just spent two hours at the gym and I am wrecked. I just ate lunch and will go draw for a bit before i shower and nap. I love having days off!!!

This weekends activities

I spent Friday night at the Elsberry game with KHo watching her daughter play basketball. My friend CoCo is right her daughters treat her like shit. They are living with their dad and step mom right now and barely spoke to KHo at the game. I can't imagine treating anyone like that, especially my mom. My mom and I don't get along all the time but that kind of disrespect would hurt my mom so much. I hope her kids realize what they are doing before they ruin this relationship with their mom. Saturday I pretty much laid around all day and then drove to Vandalia and played Basket Bingo with AMo and her mom. I didn't win and I am a bid competitive so I was a bit perturbed. After we left AMo and I went to her house and watched "The Ugly Truth" it was a pretty good movie and one that I had yet to see so I really enjoyed it. I stayed the night there and then headed back to troy because I thought that Joysister and my mom were headed up this way later on. Just got home a l

Onions... wow

Got home from work and put on my apron because I knew i needed to use these veggies I had for a dish that is great. I am having a brain fart as to what the name of the veggie is...oh yea... zucchini squash.... one yellow one green.... cut them up into round slices cut up some tomato lay out in a baking dish....sprinkle some cheese motz works best but i didn't have any so I used some fetta and also a blend I had lying around.... also add a pad of butter. After I made this and put it in the oven I decided I was hungru and made a sandwich Let me tell you about it. Chibada Bread Mayo Turkey Bacon Chicken Breast. Onion Blackened in the pan. ( I am talking an entire ring people) Lettuce. I am so impressed with that onion right now.... I will probably start doing that all the time.....so wonderful!!! I bet my breath is awesome!!!

Now what?

I made it through the 5K. I did okay, well pretty slow actually but I made it through. I was very proud of myself for doing it and I have continued to work out and try to take myself to the next level. Oh what is the next level you ask? Well... I signed up for a half marathon in April. I know, I know you are thinking to yourself, "really?" Well I needed something else to work towards, a goal if you will. This is my new goal. I am proud of the progress I have made thus far. I feel good about it. I may not be able to run the whole thing but I will finish. Finishing is my goal. 13.1 miles I think is what a half marathon is, well around there anyhow. I don't think many read this so I have no qualms posting this on here. I feel dumb when people ask me though and end up saying "I don't know." When I moved to T-town i was at a whopping 255 and about a week ago when I weighed in and did measurements I was at 226. My goal weight is 180. I will get there eventually. I
